Letoon was considered the spiritual heart of Lycia. Letoon was not actually a city but a shrine dedicated to the three national deities of Lycia….Leto and her twin children…Apollo and Artemis. There was a large settlement around the shrine, and it became a place of national festivals. Today the main attractions of the site are the remains of the three temples dedicated to Leto and her twins. |

Kumluova is a small typically Turkish village. The main income of the residents is tomato production which are sold on site, at local markets and exported around the world. Kumluova is a working village with a strong sense of community which welcomes guests and investment. The local market offers traditional fares and the shops are the sort which existed in Europe before supermarkets and malls destroyed the community. You will find a warm welcome in Kumluova.
